Ms. Maira Kalman

I met Maira Kalman last Friday. Of New Yorker and Food Rules fame? She was delightful, inspiring, and so funny. Her blonde curly mop perfectly accented her New York cool. I sat in the audience barely believing I was there. I got up the guts to say hello afterward and was handsomely rewarded with the gem above. Can you believe it? She even doodled some tomato people for me. I wrote more about it here including my quick conversation with her.
